Sleigh Rides

Your journey through our Victorian estate begins the moment you board our custom made Austrian Sleigh, fully upholstered for your comfort, pulled by magnificent draft horses.
Travel along a timeless path by the scenic Ellis river and through the woods. Sleigh stops so that you may visit with the European fallow dear in Emerald Forest. Reservations are requested. Sleigh times may change based upon availability.


Ice Skating

Enjoy the age old sport of ice skating in timeless fashion on Emerald Lake as you glide under our Victorian arched bridge. Day or night, skate away to the sounds of old-fashioned music, then warm up with hot chocolate next to a crackling bonfire on Angel Island. Skate rentals are included for all guests.

Try out the newest and hottest winter sport! An extensive trail network ranging from beginner to advanced terrain on our Victorian estate offers something for every ability level. Travel up to the Wigglesworth Trail Overlook boasting a breathtaking view of Mount Washington or take the scenic beginner loop around Emerald Lake.

Attitash Bear Peak is your home for the Perfect Summer! Take a ride on our legendary Alpine Slides - the longest in North America! Cannon Aerial Tramway


The 80-passenger aerial tramway whisks you above timberline to the 4,200-foot summit for outstanding views of the White Mountains and into Maine, Vermont and even Canada. Take as little as an hour or as long as a day to enjoy summit walking paths, an observation deck, cafeterias, swimming at Echo Lake, boat and bike rentals, a free eight-mile recreation path, NH's famous "Old Man of the Mountain," and the New England Ski Museum.

Conway Scenic Railroad


The "Valley Train" offers departures to Conway and Bartlett, while the "Notch Train" carries passengers through spectacular Crawford Notch and past the finest natural scenery in the entire Northeast. On the "Valley Train" choose Coach, First Class or experience the fun of railroad dining aboard the Dining Car "Chocorua" (reservations suggested). The "Notch Train" offers Coach, First Class and Dome seating (reservations suggested).

Flume Gorge


Offers a spectacular walk through a natural chasm, over covered bridges and past waterfalls, a scenic pool and mountain views. A free 15-minute movie at the Visitor Center provides a fine introduction to Franconia Notch State Park and the Flume Gorge. Information center, cafeteria, gift shop and interpretive exhibits.

Hobo Railroad


All aboard the Hobo Railroad for a 15 mile, 1 hour and 20 minute round trip train excursion in a picturesque, woodsy setting along the Pemigewasset River in restored vintage coaches. Most trains are narrated. Hobo picnic lunches and ice cream are available. The Station Gift Shop opens at 10am in season. Weekend Departures Memorial Day-mid June. Daily departures late June thru fall foliage. Reservation available.

Loon Mountain


Loon's scenic Summit Skyride -New Hampshire's longest- comfortably takes all ages up to a beautiful mountaintop area where there are Glacial Caves & Boardwalk, an Artist Village, Children's playground, shopping and family dining both indoors and on a deck providing one of New Hampshire's most scenic views. Mt. Washington Auto Road


Journey up the Mt. Washington Auto Road to the summit of 6,288 foot Mt. Washington, the highest peak in the Northeast. Opened in 1861, the Auto Road is America's oldest man-made attraction. Mt. Washington Cog Railway
